Bin Al Kay was born through the years of product development and working with different materials and techniques to enhance our weaves and continue to innovate through our work with textiles. This line carries a number of experimental weaves through combining different raw materials such as banana fiber, cotton and silk while also utilizing different techniques such as batik, hand painting and silkscreen. The foundation has also branched out to work with basket and mat weavers around Palawan to create bags and other products.
Bin’Al Kay means “gawa namin” in the Palaw’an language.
